Our University's focus on science meant that we submitted enough new ideas to Rospatent, that we came third overall. The certificate was handed over at the 7^th annual Congress of Technology and Innovation Support Centres, hosted by the Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University in the ancient city of Veliky Novgorod. Grigory Ivliev, head of Rospatent, welcomed the delegations, and awarded the certificates, then introduced a program of training seminars focused on copyright issues in a digital age.
