55 Years of Foreign Languages at the Pedagogical Institute

Students and alumni, alongside teachers past and present, gathered in the Concert Hall at BNRU's Old Campus of BNRU to mark the occasion

They were joined by the Heads of other Institutes, trade union officials and Dr Alexander Mamatov, Vice-Rector for 快猫视频al Affairs. In his opening address, he observed that nearly everyone teaching English at the University today had graduated from this department. Following him, Dr Victoria Tarabaeva, Director of the Pedagogical Institute, spoke to the changes that had occurred over the past 55 years. She said that despite all, high standards had been maintained throughout. Other congratulations poured in from alumni and notably from our German partner university in Freiburg, which is running a joint masters' program with us.

As part of the celebration, certificates and prizes were handed out to the deserving, and everyone enjoyed a show put on by the students.
