Among the 23 Belgorod State University students honoured at our Centre for Youth Initiative, were Kirill Nikulin, Elena Nagornaya, Yuri Fisenko, Anastasia Abramova, and Natalia Kiseleva. Andrei Izvarin, the Region's Deputy Director for Internal Policy and Personnel (the Civil Service), addressed the gathering, saying,

“It is nice to see that the number of students seeking to come up with something original, and to initiate socially important projects, is growing every year. Nowadays, there are more and more situations where you need to take the initiative and promote your ideas. Our government recognises the need to reward such initiative, and to encourage this socially responsible attitude in our youth.”

This view was echoed by Vladimir Ivashev, Head of Regional Youth Policy, who encouraged the students to maintain their enthusiasm. Mr Izvarin then gave the students Certificates from his Department, celebrating and recognising their achievements.
