Minister of Science and Higher 快猫视频 and Belgorod Governor Discuss Upcoming Admissions Campaign
Belgorod State University has teamed up with the St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, to document the presence in our Region of Bulgarian specialists and workers in the 1970s and 1980s
The information is for the 'History of Soviet-Bulgarian Cooperation in Building Belgorod' project. It is 50 years since the arrival of the first Bulgarian workers who came to help with the extensive building projects that established Belgorod as a major food production area. The project aims to honour those specialists and workers who arrived to provide key expertise and vital know-how throughout the period. In the 1970s and into the 1980s, there were anywhere up to 5000 Bulgarians living and working in Belgorod.
Professor Andrei Papkov, Dean of the Pedagogical Institute's History and Philology Faculty, is co-ordinating the project. He is keen to get information of any kind relating to these workers.
