The visit comes on the heels of an agreement signed by our two Medical Schools, and included attendance at lectures and seminars on the teaching of Nursing and General Medical Care Practices. Our team toured clinics and care facilities in Polotsk, and chatted to local staff about their work. For their part, our teachers were able inform their Belarusian colleagues about the methods used in their WorldSkills approved program, developed at BNRU, for the training of nursing staff in Obstetric Care, Palliative Care and General Nursing.

After a friendly and informative discussion, both parties looked for ways to cooperate in future, and drew up plans for fuller academic ties.
