Roman Mishnev took part in 8 international conference, dedicated to the achievements in materials engineering for thermal power stations. The conference’s specialties are heatproof materials for modern power plants, like austenic and martensitic steel and nickel superalloys. It is organized by Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) (USA). The representatives of leading universities of USA, Japan and Europe take part in it.

At the conference Roman presented results of the research of «Long-term microstructural evolution in a 10%Cr high creep resistant martensitic steel at 650°C».

Significance of BelSU postgraduate’s research was highly estimated at the conference. Roman Mishnev’s poster report won the 1^st place.
