The first Deputy head of of Belgorod region Department of Internal and Personnel policy Olga Pavlova greeted the participants and guests on behalf of the governor of Belgorod Region Yevgeny Savchenko.

The event was opened by the first Vice-Rector Tatiana V. Balabanova. She presented the Belgorod Region an the Belgorod State University as the one of the leading regional centers of education and science.

Vice-Rector for the BelSU science and innovations Andrey Peresypkin told about the fact that the idea of the Forum was appeared in last year during the IX week of ��è��Ƶ of SCO Member States. It was planed to hold a major international event in honour of the the 140th anniversary of the University.

The Chairman of the SCO Youth Council Alexey Karpenko noted that the one of the main aims of the Forum is the establishment of the business reletionships betweem young scientists and entrepreneurs.

The Deputy head of International Office of the China University of Petroleum Zhao Chunlu said that the Chinese side is interested in the development of new projects with Russian colleagues.

«Our universities have a longstanding productive relationships. Cooperation with BSU is very important to us»,

– noted Zhao Chunlu.

24 universities of the University of Shanghai Cooperation Organization came to the Forum. There were planed the work of 4 sections. Besides, the participants of the forum will visit the most interesting places of Belgorod and attend the concert perfomance.
