Rector of the University, Oleg Polukhin, during his meeting with Sergei Ryazantsev discussed the perspective bilateral cooperation.

Professor Sergei Ryazantsev, Doctor of Economics, head of the center of social demography and economic sociology of the Institute of politico-social researches of Russian Academy of Science delivered a public lecture to students, colleagues, post-graduate students and Ph.D candidates of BelSU Institute of Management on the topic “Linguistic Aspects of Immigrants Absorption in Russia: Problems and Prospects”.

Sergei Vasilievich has a great experience of work in international organizations and foreign universities which include International Organization of Migration in Geneva and Bangkok and International Labor Organization in Geneva. This experience allowed him to provide practical examples which captured students attention and stormed a lot of questions.

Sergey Ryasantsev is the head of the laboratory of population process which has been established in BelSU. During his working meeting with laboratory scientists Sergei Vasilievich shared his experience of participating in Research and Development projects.

The laboratory has the aim to carry out a large project targeting the formation of conceptual frameworks of resettlement in municipal districts of Belgorod region with regard to identified demographic trends.

The participants of the meeting specified the directions of future work of the laboratory and its specification of requirements.
