The students of National Research ���Ծ�����������ٲ���BSU became diploma winners of the research paper competition, which was devoted to the ethnic history and culture of Belgorod district.

The competition organizers were youth policy administration of Belgorod region and Center of youth initiative. The works of young researches were demonstrated to the competition committee, who was interested in regional toponymy, the culture of wedding ceremony and folk gaming culture, literature and dialects of the region, Russian national dress and women waist clothes, house organization. Every work is in own way challenging and significant.

NRU BSU team was represented by the students of the first course from the Department of Stomatology of Medical Institute Lada Makarchuk and Alina Shcherbelyova. Their participation in the scientific competition was the first experience in the scientific research. It was under the supervision of candidate of historical sciences, assistant professor of Department of History of Historic and Philological Faculty Ol'ga Kistenyova. According to the results of scientific competition the students were granted with the diplomas of II and III degree.
